Best Lip Glosses for Summer

Choosing a good summer lip gloss can give your lips the right shine to match any summer outfit. A good lip gloss can add shine and shimmer to any festive or relaxed summer look. Red and other deep lip gloss and lipstick tones are popular choices for winter, so now that it's summer again, it's a nice idea to choose a lip gloss color that glows a little brighter and has more shine for the summer months. Colors like peach, coral, watermelon, and pink will all look cheerful on your face and match the flair of the summer season. Try to find brighter colors that match your summer sundresses, or add a color with some frost or shine for an even more eye-catching look. For more natural, subtler tones to match your less dressed-up outfits, try rose tones, neutrals, or lighter pink lip gloss colors. Pick a color that looks good with your skin, as well.

If you are able to find it, try to get some lip gloss with moisturizer included in it! Summers can be hot and dry, and the moisturizer in your lip gloss will keep your lips looking fresh and pretty, even on the hottest days. And make sure that you don't pick lip gloss colors based on your winter skin tone. While a color might match your face during winter, going out in the sun can change your color and turn your skin bronze. Make sure you try out what the colors you want to wear look like on your new, tanned summer skin! If you decide that you want to wear brighter lip glosses, tone down the rest of your makeup to match. The more vibrant the lip gloss, the less emphasis your makeup should provide the rest of your face.
