Keyboard video mouse switches, as the name indicates, enables two or more computers to share a single keyboard, mouse and monitor. Older KVM switches used the personal system/2 interface for connecting input devices, but modern products like the TRENDnet 2-Port USB KVM Switch TK-207K use a universal serial bus instead. The TK-207K doesn't require software and should work once connected to each computer, but problems can occur if the associated hardware or software are misconfigured.
