Flowers in Festive Hues

A variety of flowers grow in shades of red, white and blue. When selecting which florals to incorporate into your arrangement, consider the time and location of the affair at which the arrangement will be displayed. If you want your party guests to be able to leave with a favor, you could put a bud case containing a red, white and blue carnation in front of each table setting.

No matter which type of flowers and vases you use to create your arrangement, it's easy to add festive touches using holiday supplies that you can find at party supply and craft stores. You can instantly make your centerpiece more patriotic by inserting paper flags on sticks or holiday pinwheels into your creation. In addition to red, white and blue ribbons, Fourth of July balloons and holiday garland can be tied to vases and baskets. You could also accent your arrangement by using mirrors and votive candles.
