In what follows, you’ll find three fun food ideas for a St. Patrick’s Day party; after all, no St. Patrick’s Day is complete without a few indulgences!

St. Patty’s Day Dip

8 oz. of cream cheese

8 oz. of sour cream

1 cup of shredded Swiss

½ lb. of sliced corned beef

8 oz. sauerkraut

2 tsp. of Worcestershire sauce

2 tbsp. of milk

½ tsp. of garlic powder

Put your cream cheese, sour cream and Swiss in your slow cooker. Chop your corned beef and put it in there too, in addition to your sauerkraut. Cover and cook on high for an hour. Add your Worcestershire, milk and garlic and stir it all up. Cover and cook for another 30 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve with bread or crackers.

Clover Chip Cookies

1 ¼ cup of brown sugar

¾ cup of shortening

2 tbsp. of milk

1 tbsp. of vanilla

1 egg

1 ¾ cup of flour

1 tsp. of salt

¾ tsp. of baking soda

Preheat your oven to 375 F and cover your countertop with foil for cooling. Mix up your brown sugar, shortening, milk and vanilla in your mixing bowl and beat at medium speed until fully blended. Then beat your egg into your mixture. Separately, combine your flour, salt and baking soda, and then mix this into your earlier mixture at a low-medium speed. Then fold in your green candies. Plop tablespoons of your dough onto a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Once they’re done, cool for 2 minutes on your foil.

Frozen Black Irish Cocktail

1 part coffee liqueur

1 part Irish cream

1 part vodka

1 scoop chocolate ice cream

Mix all ingredients in a blender and add ice, depending on desired sweetness and alcohol content. Blend the drink until smooth and drink right away.
