Rebecca Moses summer line for 2011, carries on her style philosophy of keeping it simple for women on the go. She combines sheer elegance with ready-to-wear fashion with relaxed fits and sexy, womanly designs. Her trademark styles involve bias cutting and plunging necklines with cashmere fabric that seems to weigh nothing as it caresses the body. She embraces color and offers a wide variety of strong floral colors as well as neutrals in her line. She uses cashmere year round and postulates that the way to achieve winter warmth is to dress in multiple layers of cashmere. She began by replacing Gianni Versace as designer for Donnatella Girombelli's Genny Collection and Genny Platinum before launching her current label in 1996.
Rebecca Moses Heart and Soul Style line for summer 2011 is available at Bloomingdale's, Dillard's, Macy's and Neiman Marcus stores. She has also created a limited lower priced line for Home Shopping Network. The line, according to Ms. Moses, is about the passion of style. It features strong colors as well as black and white and animal prints. She derives inspiration from her world travels and living abroad as much as she gleans style trends and ideas from reading about them. Her collection goes from playful day looks to dramatic high fashion evening wear. The dresses accent well with gold and silver jewelry and when shown at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week event in New York, the collection featured embellished necklines and prominent necklaces. As always the dresses are as comfortable as they are beautiful, proving that Rebecca Moses not only has an eye for style, but she understands the female body and can make her line as comfortable as it is beautiful. She is great with accents like an African beaded yoke to create depth for a beautifully draped knit dress, or some sparkly detail to add fun and elegance to an ankle length back cowl dress of black jersey
