How to Have Beautiful Hair

Anyone browsing through the latest fashion magazines will wonder how to have beautiful hair. Healthy tresses never go out of style. Yet, hair products, aging and pollution can damage your style. Getting gorgeous hair takes effort, but it is well worth the results.

Conditioning

Many women have problems with frizzy, dry hair. The summer sun, winter heating units, or even menopause can cause you hair to lose its resiliency. One of the best ways to combat these hair problems is to use conditioner. It is especially beneficial to add moisture if you color, straighten, or perm your hair.

When choosing a conditioner, look for products designed for your type. Women with fine hair need a detangler or cream rinse. Women with thicker hair can use a leave-in conditioner. Consider deep conditioning your hair once a week with a masque or treatment pack.

Regular Haircuts and Hair Massage

Even if you want to grow long hair, that does not mean you should skip a trip to the salon. A regular haircut or trim helps maintain a healthy look. Many women make the mistake of growing their styles out, only to have the ends of their hair look like bristles on a paintbrush. Keep split ends to a minimum by visiting your hairdresser every six weeks for a trim.

Before going to bed at night, stimulate the blood flow to your hair follicles. Run your fingers through your scalp for a minute. Start from the back of your neck and work your way forward. You could also use a brush with natural bristles for the same effect. Gently brush your hair forward, taking care not to break strands.

Diet

Diet is one of the simplest ways to achieve beautiful hair. Eating vitamin-rich foods such as eggs, fish and pecans can help your hair become radiant. Consider taking a supplement to get all of the proper minerals your body needs. Diet and regular exercise will help your hair look fantastic.
