Your college reunion is just around the corner, but you don't feel quite like facing hundreds of people you don't know or remember from back in the day, so follow these tips for how to host a college reunion. Why not throw a private bash of your own? Get a group of your closest college pals together, and celebrate the good ole days. Here are a few tips on how to throw a memorable college reunion.

Create a list of the people you want to invite and send out college theme, personalized invitations.

Your next step is deciding the venue of the party. For a more official, organized affair, try one of your favorite restaurants. Reserve a private party room to keep it a personal, private party. For a more casual and cozy feel, host the reunion at home! You can decorate your home in your college colors, and have a more intimate and less formal party.

Food and Drinks

If the party is at a restaurant, have the restaurant cater the food and drinks. No need for a sit down lunch or dinner - finger foods and appetizers are definitely a more fun and more social way to go for a college reunion. Offer a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to give guests options. If the party is at home, add a personal touch by making your own hors d'oeuvres and snacks. Your old college pals will be impressed!

Put together a CD or playlist of your favorite oldies from when you were in college together. This will bring back good memories and get the story-telling going!

Remember, this is your reunion too. Once the venue, decor, food, and music is set, it's time to enjoy your own party and catch up with your old friends. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your glory days.
