How to Wake up with Clear Skin Every Day

Waking up every day with clear and unblemished skin is all about effort.  Proper cleansing, moisturizing and living a healthy lifestyle are all factors in proper skin care.  The key is to devise an effective regimen that you can stick to day in and day out.

The most basic and necessary step is a thorough wash.  Always make sure to cleanse your face and hands twice a day.  Wash with warm water.  Cold water constricts the pores, likely trapping whatever is in them.  Use a moisturizing soap, or one that matches with your skin type.  Good hygiene is vital to keeping your skin healthy.  Neglecting to wash thoroughly will make your skin susceptible to clogged pores or infection.

Hydrating your skin is a must.  The application of a good moisturizer will prevent your skin from drying out.   Drinking lots of water is also important.

A good diet and exercise are not to be ignored.  The epidermis, like every other system in the body, relies on your nutrient intake.  A diet that is heavy in fruits and vegetables will allow your skin to get the vitamins it needs.  When it comes to exercise, sweating does a body good.  The more you sweat the more you're unclogging your pores.

Rid yourself of as much stress as possible.  Stress hormones can have harmful effects on just about everything.  There's a reason why we tend to break out when we are overly stressed.

Leave your face alone.  Don't pop those pimples or scratch that itch.  Avoid using a lot of product.  Plain and simple, skin care is about letting your skin take care of itself.  Touching your face with dirty hands will only cause problems.

Most importantly of all, be consistent with your regimen.  Consistency is the perfect preventative tool.  Waking up with bad skin can ruin your day, so find the time to prevent that from happening.
