When it comes to finding the least expensive skydiving options in New England, the following are places you should consider. Due to losing three to four months of business per year, as the winter can be too cold to jump in, the skydiving prices in New England are slightly higher than other places in the nation. However, there are some good deals out there if you know where to look. Check out the least expensive skydiving options in New England, listed below.

Skydive New England

Skydive New England is located in Southern Maine and is one of the cheapest places to skydive in the entire New England area. However, the low price doesn't mean they aren't professional in their skydiving facilities, as they have top equipment and instructors. You will jump from fourteen thousand feet from a 23 seat twin turbine aircraft, which is the fastest jumpship in the entire Northeast. In the summer, barbecues, bonfire parties and live music are often going on once the sun sets, so you can continue your skydiving experience on the ground once you have jumped. Tandem jumps during the week are $189 per person, while weekend jumps and holiday jumps are $209 per person.

Jump Town

Jump Town is one of the favored locations by skydive enthusiasts in New England, as well as first-time jumpers. Due to the mix of experienced and inexperienced clientele at Jump Town, there are a wide variety of pricing options, making it one of the cheapest skydiving locations in the entire New England area based on when you go and who you are. Located in Orange, Massachussets, the main claim to fame of Jump Town is that was the first sport parachute club in the United States. This gives it a club atmosphere for skydivers, which is a unique place to be a part of, even if it's for your one and only skydiving adventure. While tandem jumps are usually $225 per person, there are discounts for students and military personnel at $200. There are also group discounts for ten or more for $205. And if you're a really experienced skydiver and need a jump, it's only $100 if you present proof that you know what you are doing to the Jump Town personnel.

Fun Skydiving

Located in Danielson, Connecticutt, Fun Skydiving has a small drop zone and what they consider to be a family atmosphere, though few families go skydiving together, making it good place for your first skydiving experience. They are open seven days a week and have classes for new skydivers every hour on the hour, making Fun Skydiving a place that specializes in first timer tandem jumping. During the week, each jump is $209 per person and over the weekend jumps are about $220 per person.

Skydive Newport

Skydive Newport is located in Rhode Island and their claim to fame is that they skydive over just about every state in New England. Of course, when flying at ten to twelve thousand feet above the smallest state of Rhode Island, it won't be difficult to end up in another state after you jump from the plane. Tandem jumps at Skydive Newport are usually $225 per person, but are priced at $210 when paying with cash for students, military or groups of ten or more.
