Each year, premier design house Louis Vuitton gives the beaches of the world something new to stare at with their current collection of popular swimwear. Seen on the beaches of Los Angeles and St. Tropez, Louis Vuitton swimwear is classy, sexy, and always inventive. This year, with the introduction of their Ailleurs Summer collection, beachfronts in 2011 will be burning up with the new Ailleurs collection.

The Ailleurs collection is a set of bright exotic prints meant to invoke the feeling of "somewhere else" (ailleurs English definition) For the hottest piece of swimwear in the Louis Vuitton collection, the print was created in conjunction with the fabulous artist Pippa Cunningham. Cunningham's work is a rich, deep water colored masterpiece designed to transport the wearer to a remote location. The two-piece string bikini in the collection is made from the Aventure (jungle) print. Aventure is a deep green punctuated throughout by strands of lighter green, complementing almost every color palate. The delicate string bikini is high enough cut on the bottom to lengthen the leg line, yet has full enough coverage in the back to let you walk comfortably from your cabana to the bar to get your next mojito.

The one piece in the collection is a textured dark piece, with side cutouts and a sweetheart neckline. The neckline accents even the smallest bust line, creating the illusion of cleavage. The side cutouts are beautifully rounded, drawing the eye in to optically shrink the waist. With a modestly cut leg, the one piece helps create curves on most body types.

Both of these suits will undoubtedly be the go to pieces for summer beach wear, and Louis Vuitton rounds out the beach collection with totes and sandals in two other prints which complement the look, and allow every woman to go Ailleurs for the summer.
