Shopping for Miss Albright Sandals

By Ted Rollins , last updated July 1, 2011
Miss Albright is a new brand of funky women's shoes and sandals. The company makes heels, wedges, clogs, flats and nearly any other style of shoe you may desire. You might have trouble getting your hands on a pair, however, as the brand is sold exclusively at Anthropologie and its online store. While you might not agree with all of Anthropologie's company policies and the beliefs of its owner, it's hard to deny that the Miss Albright line it carries makes an elegant pair of shoes. In what follows, you'll learn more about what the brand currently has to offer.
Most Miss Albright Shoes retail between $100 and $200, although you may be able to find them for less at an Anthropologie sale. Nearly all of the brand's styles go great with the bohemian aesthetic you've come to love from Anthropologie. The Doily Flounce Flat is one of Miss Albright's simplest looks. Retailing for $98, the go with everything flats have a small ruffle of laser cut leather at the toe and have a leather upper and insole to go with a synthetic sole. The flats come in black or cream. The Nelumbo Kitten Heels have three dimensional lotus blossoms for a cool sense of glamour. The shoes also have a peep toe, side zip, leather body and slight 2 1/2 inch heel. Like the flats, they also come in black or cream. The Parabola Heels are much taller, measuring at 4 inches. These steel grey leather sandals have arching ankle straps that make a cool pattern. They also have an adjustable buckle and leather body. For a more whimsical Miss Albright look, get the Lemon Stick Wedges. These have a ruffled citrus flower blossom at the toe, a bright yellow leather body, jute upper and adjustable buckle at the ankle. They'll add some height too, as their 4 inch wrapped heel goes well with their 1 1/4 inch platform.
