Crow's feet are fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area, and many people try to hide them. While the attractiveness of crow's feet is debatable, there is no reason to wear sunglasses to cover your crow's feet or hide them in other ways. Hiding crow's feet is not as difficult as you might think. Simply follow the steps below to have your eyes free of crow's feet in no time.
Search for a concealer to cover your crow's feet. Mary Kay and Estee Lauder are among the more popular brands that sell concealer. Many people purchase the concealer that best matches their current skin tone, but you should actually go with one that is one shade lighter. Before applying the concealer, moisturize your skin. It is important to make sure the moisturizer absorbs completely into the area around your eye and that no residue is left on your face.
Then, use your ring finger to apply a dab of concealer that is about as large as a small pea. Cover the entire area by using an upward motion. Also be sure to spread the concealer around the outside of your eye and under your eye so that it blends in with the rest of your face. After application, allow the concealer to set for about a minute.
Next, apply your foundation as normal using upward strokes. When going over the area where you have already applied the concealer, use light pressure. When using a concealer to hide crow's feet, you should apply a loose face powder (as opposed to a pressed face powder). Loose powder blends in better with the concealer and allows for more effective cover of the crow's feet.
After applying your other makeup as normal, wait about five minutes for it to set. Re-examine your face and check to see if the crow's feet are hidden as you desire. If not, you can reapply the concealer as before.
