Trendy Motorcycle Clothing

Motorcycle clothing has always had a certain trendiness to it, due primarily to the fact that it shows you ride a motorcycle, which is just generally considered cool. However, most motorcycle clothing is specifically designed to be both warm when riding at high speeds on your bike and to be able to protecting you, at least a little bit, in the event of a collision. This means that most clothing is made of thick leather and relatively unattractive fabrics. However, there are a few motorcycle outfits which manage to protect riders and make them look good.

Leather Jacket

The quintessential jacket to wear as a motorcycle rider, this look will never go out of style, as the leather jacket has a permanent place among legends throughout our modern cultural history, ranging from James Dean to the Hell's Angels. However, a leather motorcycle jacket covered with a bunch of logos of companies you don't work for and who have never sponsored you for anything (beyond paying them money for a motorcycle jacket, maybe) is not trendy, as you look like a walking page from the classifieds section. Make sure your leather jacket is all leather and is thick enough to really protect you in case you wreck.

Motorcycle Pants

Legs are often quite vulnerable on a motorcycle, especially in the event of a collision and while jeans are a common choice, even the toughest denim won't hold up when sliding over asphalt at sixty miles per hour. That's why a variety of companies have spent a lot of time and money engineering motorcycle pants that are both safe and don't make you look like you are a volunteer firefighter. Check out Revzilla for motorcycle pants, as they have 200 different pairs in stock in a wide variety of different colors and styles, meant for different seasons based on their thickness and their ability to properly contain or release heat. Some of the pants are made from super fabric, which will protect you when falling off a bike at high speeds but will also make you sound like you're wearing snowboarding pants. But some of the trendiest pants are made from textiles which almost look like everyday pants with a tad bit more thickness to them than usual.

Boots and Shoes

Motorcycle boots have gone through many different looks and styles over the years and most of the safest ones which are designed specifically for riding motorcycles make you look like you've stepped off a ski slope or out of a weirdly unstylish future. However, there are a few boots that can protect you on a motorcycle yet also be worn around at wherever you stop along the way. Motorcycle shorty boots are meant to be a daily boot, only going to the bottom of the calf in height, as opposed to most of the way up the calf, like touring motorcycle boots. Motorcycle shoes are even more casual and look like classy, thick hiking boots, only going around the ankle for a much trendier look when you hop off your bike.
