Grass seed germination is the basic process of planting seeds and then watching as those seeds begin to sprout and multiply. You should refer to the directions and expected germination period on the grass seed package you chose to use to germinate your lawn. Also, you should try to keep your growing area free from human and animal disturbance. Regarding natural light, the more direct sunlight your seeds receive, the better, so be sure to plant them in an area that receives a good amount of sun each day.
While you can never control the seed germination process entirely, you can have a positive impact if you follow the steps above. However, if you do fail, try to determine what went wrong and correct the next time around.
