Finding great vests for kids is on many parents' to-do lists when the weather turns chilly, especially if their kids don't like coats and jackets. Some kids object to the long sleeves and puffy bodies of winter coats, either because they find them uncomfortable or because they think winter coats aren't "cool." Those kids might take off a bulky coat as soon as they get out the door. Parents often discover that vests are a good compromise: they provide warmth, and kids are actually willing to wear them.
