In the event that you have a pair of jeans you want adjusted, you must have them altered for the proper fit and New York City offers a lot of different tailors. Bridge Cleaners & Tailors is one of the most respected tailors in New York City. They are located on Livingston St. between Hoyt and Smith. The shop is located in Boerum Hill and the store is open from 7:30am-6:30pm Monday through Thursday. The store is also open from 7:30am-4pm on Saturdays. The store has 10 people on staff and you can get your jeans hemmed for about $16.
Object Custom Tailor
Object Custom Tailor relocated to Boerum Hill in 2003. In their new space, you will get an old world feel. The hardwood flooring, tri fold mirrors and mannequins across the shop will take you back to early 20s. Although they are a great tailor for your jeans, Object Custom Tailor is primarily known for their custom suites. Owner Aaron Lett will have your jeans fitted for you quickly and efficiently. The shop is open from 11am-8pm Monday through Friday and is open from 11am-7pm on Saturdays. You can get your jeans altered for about $15. If you need a zipper replacement it will cost you about $20.
Nobel Dry Cleaners
Nobel Dry Cleaners is a family owned and operated business that has been in the tailor and cleaning industry for more than 20 years. One of the best features of the shop is their ability to turn your pants back over to you the same day. They do not charge extra for same day turnaround and it will cost you about $12 to get your jeans altered. Nobel Dry Cleaners is run by Carroll Gardens and is open from 7am-7pm Monday through Friday. On Saturday they are open from 8am-7pm.

Eminence Cleaners and Tailoring can also offer your same day turnaround for your jeans. Getting your jeans altered at this shop will cost you about $12. The shop is open from 7am-7pm Monday through Friday and from 8am-5pm on Saturday. They are located on Henry Street in Brooklyn.
GR’s Cleaners
GR’s Cleaners is efficient, clean and affordable. This shop is owned by Edward Burden and is located in Park Slope, Brooklyn. You can get your jeans altered at GR’s Cleaners for about $12. The shop is open 7am-8pm Monday through Friday and 8am-7pm on Saturdays.
