In fact, you don't even have to have a pond to own a garden bridge, although it is more common to see that combination. The bridge can be built over a lovely decorative area that shows off various types of flowers and other plants, and even rocks.
You can create a sitting area in your garden as well, on or near the bridge. This would be a good spot to just sit and read, or to simply soak up the sun and enjoy the scenery, or to meditate. This can also create a lovely setting for your family that can be viewed as a getaway.
