Just remove the side of the computer and install the RAID card into any open PCI slot. Don't know what OS you are using but if it's Windows 7 it will be plug and play. Good luck.
Honestly, it sounds like an underpowered system for Vista. You should probably say what you're upgrading FROM. If you have XP or 2000, stick with it until you get a new computer.
