i'd like to find individual portions of vacuum packed frozen salmon in SF. i'm under the impression that most, if not all, salmon we get has been previously frozen anyhow. of course i've seen other types of fish packaged this way, but i've never seen salmon. any ideas? chowhound.chow.com |
I defrost right before I use it, unopened package under dripping water in the sink. NOT hot water, cause that will start to cook it. Frozen is a great way to get real wild salmon.
