When it's hot, it's hot, and this one is as hot as you want it to be. The amount of crushed red pepper can be adjusted to suit your taste to a "T".

Combine and mix thoroughly. This makes a wonderful meatloaf, too. Substitute half the meat of your favorite meatloaf recipe with some of this Italian sausage. It's really good when formed into patties and slowly fried. It also makes for some killer spaghetti sauce!

To cook, boil in water to cover for about 5 minutes (if in casings). Then drain off water and fry in their own fat. Patties should obviously just be fried.
