A recipe for a Bundt cake can also be transferred to two 8-inch or 9-inch round cake pans, to one 9-inch tube pan, to two 11-by-7 inch baking dishes or to one springform pan. However, changing the shape of the pan may change the time needed for baking, particularly if multiple pans are used. If the pan is only filled to the halfway point, it gives the cake enough room to rise.
