A church rainbow tea is a meeting organized by women only for women that is intended to celebrate the happiness of being a female Christian leader in the church or home. The rainbow colors are used to decorate the church, home or tea room to reflect specific meanings.
Purple is used to represent royalty or Christ as the King. Red represents the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed so that humans can be forgiven for their sins. Yellow means new life and fills Christians with the hopes of resurrection. Green is used to represent all living things and is supposedly God's favorite color.
