The ingredients needed to make homemade goopy slime are cornstarch, water and a coloring agent. Washable kid's paint or food coloring can be used as the coloring agent.
The following is the recipe for homemade goopy slime.
- 2 cups of water
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- Food coloring or washable paint.
Boil the 2 cups of water in a medium-sized saucepan. Once the water begins to boil, slowly add the cornstarch while stirring. The consistency of the water will become thicker as more cornstarch is added.
Continue to stir to prevent the mixture from becoming lumpy. Slowly add the coloring agent while stirring.
Once the desired consistency is achieved and the coloring agent has been mixed uniformly throughout the mixture, remove from heat. Allow to cool to room temperature before playing with the goopy slime.
