If stored in the refrigerator, freshly squeezed orange juice can last between 2 and 3 days. To keep fresh orange juice for a longer period of time, one has to freeze it.
Ideally, one should drink freshly made orange juice as soon as possible to avoid its possible oxidation. However, if one needs to store it for later use in the freezer, then one can use small glass jars that are between four to 16 ounces. The jars should have airtight lids. Similarly, one should leave at least a half-inch of space at the top. One should store the juice at a freezer temperature that is 0 degrees Fahrenheit. In a freezer, orange juice can last between three and four months.
Once one opens a frozen jar of orange juice, a person should drink all of it as soon as possible. For this reason, it is useful to have small jar containers.
