Combine in a large mixing bowl the turkey or beef, the spinach, which has been squeezed to drain, the oats, onion, carrots, egg, milk, herbs (mixture of oregano, basil and thyme), salt and pepper.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, add all ingredients. Mix together well with clean hands. Shape into a roll and place in baking pan. Add 1/4 cup water to bottom of pan. Put indentation lengthwise into top of loaf and pour tomato sauce in. Cook for approximately 35 minutes. Once

Mix all ingredients well. Press firmly into ungreased loaf pan 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2. Bake in 350 degree oven about an hour. Cool 5 minutes before cutting.
