A simple meat loaf dish that's easy to prepare.

Just a few ingredients and yummy, smells great while it is cooking, plus I do not like ketsup on mine. It goes together in just a few minutes. I serve with noodles and gravy. I use the leftovers cold for sandwiches, or serve like a pate with crackers.

I crumble my ground beef in a large bowl. In a smaller bowl I combine my liquid ingredients; i.e. eggs, milk, and ketchup, worcestershire sauce, and/or steak sauce (whatever I happen to have on hand.) I beat well; if I use any seasonings I add now (oregano, basil, parsley, paprika).

3. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread, onion, egg, worstershire sauce, bouillon, and 1/3 cup of the ketchup mixture until well mixed. Form into a loaf and place in a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

SIMPLE MEATLOAF BAKE Yield: 1 Serving 1 1/2 lb Lean ground beef 2 Eggs, slightly beaten 1/3 c Evaporated milk Salt and pepper to taste 1 c Cracker or bread crumbs 1 c Chopped onions 1/2 c Shredded raw carrots 1 cn Tomato soup, undiluted 1/4 c Brown sugar 1/4 c Catsup 1 tb Prepared mustard Mix

Mix together ground beef, eggs, milk, salt, pepper, cracker crumbs, onions, carrots and tomato soup (I use my hands). Form into a loaf and place in a 8"x8" baking dish. Combine brown sugar, catsup and prepared mustard and spread atop meatloaf. You might want to add potatoe pieces, halved
