Poster's Notes: I made Norene Gilletz's lemon meringue frozen dessert, from her book MealLeaniYumm which is in my freezer right now--it's easy--a lemon filling, you broil the meringue, then freeze the whole thing, and it looks gorgeous. It will go well with all the chocolate desserts

Pie - melt butter in top of double boiler. Add lemon rind, lemon juice, salt, and sugar. Lightly beat whole eggs with egg yolks. Combine with lemon mixture; cook over boiling water, stirring constantly with whisk or egg beater, until thick and smooth, about consistency of pudding. Cool. Smooth 1
