According to Shape, the Curves for Women workout helps to improve aerobic capabilities, but the results are minimal. Supplementing the Curves workout with three to four additional cardiovascular exercises per week can help women achieve better results.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Curves has recently implemented an additional higher-intensity workout program created by professional fitness expert Jillian Michaels. The workout is designed to assist members in moving past plateaus commonly experienced by long-term Curves members. The exercises are displayed on video screens and consist of plank formations, jumping jacks, squats, push-ups and lunges that help to burn additional fat and calories.
