Because triceps are used everyday, they are naturally toned. The triceps muscles appear more predominately when they are flexed. According to Bodybuilding, arm muscles should feel huge and tight after an intense workout. To tone triceps, workout those isolated muscles two times a week for no longer than one hour.
A bodybuilder starts off with a proper weight, preferably a dumbbell, that can be lifted safely above the head. To test the weight, one can rest it on or slightly below the shoulder in the back, then lift the weight up above the head with care. The extended arm remains as straight as possible, until the weight is lowered. Triceps can appear better toned with an established workout routine.
