Remove wrinkles from a plastic tablecloth by placing it in the dryer. You need damp rags to complete this process. Most wrinkles can be removed in less than 15 minutes.
- Place damp rags and the tablecloth in the dryer
Wet a few clean rags, and wring them out until they are slightly damp. Place the rags in the dryer. Put the plastictablecloth in the dryer with the rags.
- Set the dryer to a low heat setting
Set the dryer to its lowest heat setting to avoid melting the tablecloth.
- Run the dryer
Turn on the dryer, and allow the damp rags and tablecloth to tumble dry for two to three minutes.
- Remove the tablecloth from the dryer
Immediately remove the tablecloth from the dryer. Spread it out flat on the floor or on another large, clean surface. Use your hands to smooth out the tablecloth, applying pressure to remove any wrinkles that remain.
- Repeat if necessary
Inspect the tablecloth for any remaining wrinkles. If the wrinkles can't be smoothed out by hand, return the tablecloth and damp rags to the dryer to repeat the process. Be careful to remove the tablecloth promptly since leaving it in the dryer for too long can melt the plastic.
