It is possible to soften jeans. The softening process includes turning the jeans inside out and soaking them in a vinegar solution. The jeans are then dried, rolled into a ball and sanded.
The jeans are washed and dried next. Four clean tennis balls should be placed in a dryer that is set on low heat. The tennis balls further help to soften the jeans by beating against them during the drying cycle.
This process can be repeated as often as necessary, and the more often jeans are worn, the softer they become. The tag on the jeans can also be removed for additional comfort.
