Biography by Keith Johnson, All Music Guide
An Italian composer and singer who, on more than one occassion, had works dedicated to her because of her renown (e.g. Molino and Monte). She always seemed to demonstrate her gratitude to patrons by dedicating bodies of compositions to them (Bevilacqua, Montanaro, and Pesaro). She was the composer of madrigals which are extant in three volumes. The first two volumes were scored for four voices and the third volume was arranged for five voices.
