Mixes between a boxer and an English bulldog are sometimes called Valley bulldogs or bull-boxers. An English bulldog-boxer mix may look like a tall English bulldog or like a short boxer. It is a muscular, sturdy dog with a very wide chest, a broad head and a thick neck.
The length of the muzzle of this mix varies a bit between boxer and bulldog length. Valley bulldogs have an excellent temperament and do well with children and other dogs. They tend to be calm most of the time, but can be very playful. Bull-boxers are easy to train and need a long daily walk for exercise. These animals make excellent watchdogs.
