What is 1847 Rogers Bros?

Answer

The 1847 Rogers Bros is a series of silverware made from 1893 to 1950. The company was originally based out of Hartford, Connecticut but later moved to Meriden, Connecticut. It came in a variety of styles including Columbia, Charter Oak, Ancestral, Adoration, First Love, Vintage, and Daffodil. While called silverware it is actually not made from solid silver but rather plated in a thin layer of silver. Because of their age, they are considered to be antiques and are collected by many people.
