1920's Marriage Customs?

Answer

1920s marriage customs were not that different than marriage customs today. Instead much of the differences is marriage have to do with what occurs prior to marriage. In the 1920s it was unheard of to live with your significant other without first being married. Pre-marital sex was also a big no-no. Although not all people adhered to this, especially men, it was still considered socially unacceptable to have sex before marriage. Those that did were mocked if they wore a white dress during their wedding.
