The 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is one of the models that was offered in 1955. The Chevy offered new styling and improved handling during the year, but kept the V8 that everyone enjoyed. Owners could also find differences under the hood with a different crankshaft, lightweight pistons, and rocker arms. America loved the Bel Air so much it was released again in 1957 with a few structural changes. Americans not only snatched this beauty up then, it is still owned by many collectors now.
