The women's hairstyles of 1969 was a 'bigger the better' hairdo. Afros were common on both African American men and women. Women of European decent would style their hair in either beehives or bouffants. Disco was still very popular so flair pants and tight shirts were seen with this hair style. Ladies of upper class would wear tighter dresses, such as the ladies seen in James Bond films or Austin Powers. The hair style did not really change until late in the 1970's.
