i have a 92 same engine and i was getting about 165 170 out of it until i put cold air intake new exhaust and bigger injectors on it now im putting about 190 or 200 on a good day.

It's on the fuel rail. Pretty easy to spot, it will have a vacuum line attached to it. EDIT: If memory serves me correctly you may have to take the upper plenum off to get to it.
