The use of biotechnology greatly benefits farmers. One of the advantages is that a farmer is able to produce a greater yield of product which results in a larger profit. A major benefit is that that by using biotechnology in agriculture, a lesser amount of damage is seen on the produce due to insects. Another advantage is that plant disease is very well controlled and completely stoppable. Additionally, crops produced by biotech procedures improves the quality of food and makes more options available for renewable fuel production.
