Advantages of Quantitative Research?

Answer

Quantitative research is the investigation of social phenomena. One of the advantages to quantitative research is that it gives the researcher a point to focus on early on in the investigation when the topic may other wise be unknown. The study unfolds at a more natural and less strict path which scientists may also view as an advantage depending on the study. Because of the slower path the research takes, the scientist or person conducting the research can gain a better understanding of the data that is presented. Another advantage is that quantitative research shows how the research affects individuals and can be important to social sciences.
