The bald eagle has hollow bones to make them lighter since they are such a large bird. They have excellent eyesight; their eyes are up to 10 times better than a humans eye. The bald eagle babies have different colorings than the adults to help distinguish their age. The eagles have sharp, hook-shaped claws for catching fish and other prey. They also have a sharp, hooked beak for tearing apart meat.
