The electrical impulses generate automatically by special cardiac cells. The cells will generate an electrical impulse that causes the ions to cross the membrane and cause the action potential, which is called depolarization. The ions moves across the cell through sodium potassium and calcium, causing contractions of the cardiac muscle.
