What Are the Disadvantages of the Imperial System?

Answer

What are the disadvantages of the imperial system? The 1870's marked an era of European Imperialism. As with any government system it had its good and bad side. The fact that some large countries were built through Imperialism does not negate the fact that it was done by forcing their rules, regulations and even religious beliefs on other countries. Taking away freedom is the biggest disadvantage of Imperialism. It still happens today through political, military, cultural and economic systems.
