Endocervical Component?

Answer

An endocervical component is something that is considered when a person is getting a cervical exam done. This exam is done for many reasons, with the main one being to check for STD's. A person also gets a pap smear to check for problems like cervical cancer as well. The cells are examined under a microscope, after they are taken from the cervix. From there, a person finds out what kind of health they are in, and whether or not their test came back normal.
