An aerobic bacteria is one that requires oxygen to grow. Some aerobic bacteria are Pseudomonas aeruginosa which also prefer to grow in water, Mycobacterium tuberculosis which is usually known as simply tuberculosis or TB, Anthrax bacillus, and Nocardia, which grows in soil but can infect humans.
