Examples of Atoms?

Answer

An atom is the smallest particle that everything is made up of. There are different kinds of atoms, called elements. Examples of atoms are hydrogen, oxygen, and carbon. These elements are listed on the periodic table of elements. The elements are combined in different amounts to make up an atom. Atoms join together to make molecules. An example of a molecule is water, which has two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. This is listed as H2O.
