Fluttering in the Ear?

Answer

Fluttering in the ear is one symptom of a condition called tinnitus. Tinnitus can cause a variety of different sounds, and can be a very frustrating condition to live with. Most commonly, tinnitus is caused by an individual taking too much aspirin, or by a very loud noise very near the ear - often called a 'ringing in the ears.' This type of tinnitus, called subjective tinnitus, usually fades rather quickly. A less common cause of tinnitus is improper blood flow, either in or around the ear.
