Gurgling in Throat?

Answer

Other than phlegm or mucus build-up in your throat, gurgling noises stem mostly from gastroparesis which is difficulty emptying the stomach. Those that have trouble with their gag reflex also experience gurgling from time to time. Seeing a specialist to determine the cause and course of treatment is the best option. Since there are multiple reasons that this could be happening, it is impossible to determine the problem from one single symptom. Proper testing will determine the cause.
