Herpes Antibodies?

Answer

The STD genital herpes can be diagnosed with a simple blood test. The test will detect herpes antibodies in the blood which then point to the fact that the person does, in fact, have the virus. There is currently no treatment available to cure this disease. However, there are medications that will help to control the length as well as the severity of the outbreaks. By practicing safe sex and using latex condoms, you can significantly reduce the chance of getting this disease. Also, if you know you have herpes, you should never have sex during an outbreak.
