Homemade Fly Bait?

Answer

Great homemade fly bait involves only a cup of vinegar, and a few tablespoons of sugar. Combine in a bowl and leave the bowl in a room in which flies are a problem. The sugar will attract the fly, which will then be bogged down by the solution weighing down its wings. It will die in the trap. The sugar can be replaced with a cup of molasses or syrup for flies outside, as the stronger scent of sweetness will give off a stronger odor to attract flies.
